Ride, Park, and Shop
The City of Savannah and participating merchants jointly subsidize free parking for downtown shoppers with $.50 and $1.00 stamps good at all three City garages. Look for decals in store windows and ask merchants for details about their individual program.
Passenger Loading Zones
Passenger loading zones accommodate the receiving and discharging of passengers at downtown establishments. Parking is limited to the expedient loading and unloading of passengers.
Yellow Lines
Drivers may not park in these safety zones under any circumstances. Serious traffic congestion may result or large vehicles may not be able to pass through these areas. Look for them around parks and squares and other busy downtown areas. |
