The Hazardous Materials Response Team has the huge job of preparing and mitigating emergency operations dealing with all chemical accidents, releases, or spills. Some of the preparations include preplanning at industrial sites, training SFES personnel for all levels of response capabilities, maintaining equipment and information data bases. The SFES Haz-Mat team is the county-wide response team which has the support of all local county governments and industries.
