Neighborhood & Regional Centers Building Permit Policy
All Leisure Services Neighborhood and Community Centers are open to the public and are operated without discrimination of race, color, sex, handicapped condition, or national origin.
Neighborhood and Regional Centers are available for permits, such as, banquet, wedding receptions, family reunions, dances, basketball games, practices, and tournaments. All requests must clearly state the intended use of the center. Reservations will be taken on first-come first-served basis. In order to reserve a center, the following procedures must be followed:
All fees are to be paid in full to the designated City of Savannah, Leisure Services Supervisor, along with Leisure Services Facility Permit application, one week prior to the scheduled event.
The Leisure Services staff is responsible for the safeguarding of property and equipment during periods of approved usage of their respective center. No political speeches may be made at the center nor
materials of a political nature may be dispersed around the center.
Any sales of concession items must be approved at time application is submitted. No alcoholic beverages, drugs, or gambling devices of any kind are permitted. All equipment to be provided by the center should be stated in the permit request, along with approval to bring in any additional equipment. All equipment brought in must be removed immediately after the event is over.
